New York Fries Expands to Egypt

TORONTO, ON, July 7, 2015 – Canadian chain New York Fries is pleased to announce the opening of its first location in Egypt. Located in Cairo’s Festival City Mall, New York Fries Cairo opened on June 15, 2015.

The Cairo location is the 21st New York Fries in the Middle East and is part of the chain’s growth strategy in the region.

The Cairo location is owned and operated by Modern Food and Beverages, a subsidiary of Seoudi Group. Plans are also underway to open a second New York Fries location at the Al Jezira Sport Club in 2015.

New York Fries’ Cairo menu features Classic Fries (Hand cut, skins on, cooked to order in non-hydrogenated sunflower oil), Butter Chicken Fries (traditional Indian inspired butter masala with creamy tomato sauce), Imli Fries (pure vegetarian, a refreshing sweet, sour taste with a slightly fruity aroma), Chili Beef or Chicken Fries (Hearty beef or chicken chili topped with real sour cream, cheese sauce, fresh green onions and real bacon), Nacho Fries (Fresh, vegetarian alternative with cheese, real sour cream, fresh green onions and tomatoes), Sweet & Sour Fries, and premium chicken and beef hot dogs.
